There is no greater disgruntlement than realizing the fact that some roads lead to fathomless sinkholes of perpetual emptiness and there doesn't exist natural forms, less artificial ways to fill the abyss.

And since then all that's left is to get worse. Sons of Sisyphus, blessed be thy fate, surrounded by purposeless paths that bring false appeasement and gnaw the souls from within.

Ghostly creeping
Through the eons
In a state of inertia
Eternal quiescency

That silences and burns
Dissects the veins
Pierces the flesh
And crumbles the pneuma

Dreams in vigil
Spectral visions
Of ancient glyphs
From a higher Entity

Inability to feel, harm
Stripped of all earthly pleasure
Where only the subconscious breathes
Bound to the universal void

Skinless

Pale
Wandering

Alone
Lost in darkness

Dissociated from life
living a reality
The only one that is real
That which is beyond
our vague perception
